Detailed 10-Day Kenya Tanzania Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi City
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your Serengeti Masai Mara migration safari, you will meet our professional driver/guide who will brief you about the safari.
You will then drive around the city, visiting historical centers, local markets, places of worship, and many more places. You will then drive to any hotel of your choice for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
After an early morning breakfast, meet your driver/guide and drive to Amboseli National Park.
The journey involves driving through the Rift Valley, gentle slopes, Savannah vegetation, and views of the neighboring Mt. Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest mountain.
Depending on the time you arrive, you will have lunch and opt for either an afternoon game drive or spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Have supper and sleep over at any lodge of your choice.
Day 3: All-Day Game Drives in Amboseli National Park
You will wake up at around 6:00 am and embark on an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. This will enable you to see a number of animal species as they graze before the sun gets hot.
You will also be in a position to enjoy beautiful views of the snowcapped Kilimanjaro Mountains as the sun rises.
Amboseli National Park is famous for having the great African elephant. It is also home to other animal species such as hyenas, buffaloes, cheetahs, wildebeests, to mention but a few.

Day 4: Cross to Tanzania – Lake Manyara National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Kenya-Tanzania border (Namanga), from where you will get another tour vehicle and drive to Lake Manyara National Park via Arusha, where you will have a lunch stopover.
The journey lasts for about 5.5 hours but is marked with scenic stopovers and great photography moments.
Check into the lodge of your choice for dinner and overnight stay as soon as you arrive in the park.
Day 5: Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning breakfast, you will carry your lunch box, check out of the lodge, and embark on a spectacular morning game drive.
This is an opportunity for you to see climbing lions, acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, floodplains, and the rocky escarpments of the Great Rift Valley.
You will then continue and drive to the magical Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Proceed to Serengeti National Park
Wake up early in the morning and pack your breakfast as you embark on a visit to the crater rim for yet another wonderful experience. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s largest volcanic craters.
