Day 1: Flight to Zanzibar Island
Upon arrival at Zanzibar airport, you will meet our professional driver/guide who will lead you to any hotel of your choice within Stone Town. Check in to the lodge/hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 2: Zanzibar Stone Town Tour
After a delicious morning breakfast, get in touch with your driver/guide and embark on a tour around the city. This is an opportunity for you to visit markets, historical centers, churches, etc.
Don’t miss passing by the mighty House of Wonders, Darajani market place, Sultan’s Palace, and the Slave Market to get acquainted with the history of the island.
Return to your lodge/hotel later in the day for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Zanzibar Spice Tour
After a morning breakfast, meet your driver/guide and go for a spice tour around Zanzibar Island. During this excursion, you will visit several plantations and learn more about the origin of spices you usually have in tea, but this time directly from the garden, not a supermarket. The spices include, but are not limited to, cinnamon, pepper, ginger, and vanilla.
Continue to visit Jozani Forest – the home of rare red colobus monkeys and several other animal and bird species, some of which are endemic to the forest.
Return to your hotel for supper and overnight stay.
Day 4: Visit to Nungwi Beach
After a morning breakfast, visit one of Zanzibar’s most amazing beaches located in the north – Nungwi beach. Spend a full day on the beach enjoying water and sand activities such as boat riding, scuba diving, and snorkeling. This includes a delicious lunch with flavors from around the world.
Return to your hotel/lodge and spend the night.
Day 5: Departure
Enjoy a morning breakfast, meet your driver, and head to Zanzibar airport for your flight back home, marking the end of this 5-day Zanzibar safari.
