Detailed 10-Day Best of Kenya Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up & Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival in Nairobi city, you will meet our professional driver/guide who will brief you about the safari. You will then drive to Amboseli National Park, the home of wonders. Characterized by scenic views of the great Mt. Kilimanjaro ranges, Amboseli National Park offers one of the best experiences to visitors.
Upon arrival, check into the lodge of your choice and have a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive which will introduce you to several animal species, including lions, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, to mention but a few.
Return to the lodge in the evening for relaxation, supper, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drive in Amboseli National Park
Day two is special in its own way. It starts with a morning breakfast at your lodge, followed by an early morning game drive that will give you great animal views. It is done early so that you can see animals and birds as they leave their nests.
Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, go for your third game drive in Amboseli National Park, designed to show you wonders that you might have missed on the previous game drives.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer from Amboseli National Park to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After a morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – the home of adopted chimpanzees. The journey takes you through Nairobi city, the foothills of Mt. Kenya, and the magical Kikuyu farm.
Upon arrival, check into the lodge of your choice and go for chimpanzee trekking, then return for supper, relaxation, and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer from Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Samburu Game Reserve
After a morning breakfast, meet your driver/guide and embark on the journey to the rugged landscape of Samburu Game Reserve, which is also a home to great animal species.
Upon arrival, you will check into any lodge and have some good lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive that will introduce you to the unique wonders of the reserve, including Grevy’s zebras, long-necked gerenuks, reticulated giraffes, Somali ostriches, Beisa Oryx, etc.

Day 5: Game Drive in Samburu Game Reserve
Day five belongs to you and Samburu Game Reserve! You will start with a morning game drive, followed by a late breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon game drive.
The drives will take you to deeper parts of the area so that you can see as many animals as your eyes can handle.
You will close the day with a delicious supper and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 6: Transfer from Samburu Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
As soon as you finish your morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park – the home of flamingos.
Check into the lodge of your choice upon arrival. Have a sweet lunch and then go for a game drive to Lake Nakuru and get to see flamingos alongside other bird species. It is a moment turned into a memory.

Day 7: To Lake Bogoria and Lake Naivasha
After a morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Bogoria – one of Kenya’s most spectacular destinations. At the lake, you will have a chance to visit the lake’s springs and geysers as well as see flamingos.
